15" LCD DVD TVAmazon.com Product Description
The Toshiba 15DLV76 15" LCD TV/DVD player combines a full-featured DVD Player and a stereo TV in one convenient, compact design. It's size and features make it ideal for bedrooms, dorms, and other personal spaces. The Value of LCD TVs
Aside from their obvious aesthetic value, LCD TVs are much more practical in the home than CRT (tube-style) televisions. They take up a smaller footprint, and thus use up less floor space in the room. Without all of the extra component and tube, LCD TVs are lighter and easier to move around when cleaning or redecorating. The 15DLV76 is only 14 inches deep and weighs less than 13 pounds. Best of all, LCD screens use less power than CRTs and plasma screens.
Full-Featured DVD Player
The 15DLV76 includes an integrated DVD player compatible with several disc formats: DVD Video, CD-R, CD-RW, VCD and DVD-R. One interesting feature of this player is digital picture zoom, which allows you to select and magnify an area of either freeze-frame or motion video. An ideal use for this feature is to zoom past black bars in letterbox films. Want to bring your photos out of the office and into the TV room? Simply move your JPEG photos onto a CD-R or CD-RW disc and the 15DLV76 will provide you access to a slide show of your images with a few clicks on the player's remote control. This set is also DivX Home Theater Certified, which means it display popular Internet video formats that have been burned onto a CD, such as DivX, AVI, and MPEG4.
Audio
The 15DLV76 features front stereo speakers and a headphones port for private listening. For home theater audio hookups, the unit provides coaxial Dolby Digital and dts surround sound output. The 15DLV76 also plays MP3 and WMA files recorded to compatible disc media.

We have had this combo since 2006 and it was purchased for our young daughters' bedroom. The picture quality is good on DVD's and standard quality for standard cable. The sound is great for their room which measures 15 by 8. Now onto the very very bad....
For the last year it has started acting up... you will insert a DVD and it will not read it. At first you think that there is something wrong with your DVD until you realize that it is a brand new one. Then we realized that it wouldn't read any burned formats either. We came to realize that this player only likes "Disney" & Spongebob movies. And that is fine until your fighting 2, 4 & 5 year old want to watch something like the Garfield movies or "The Last Unicorn". We called Toshiba and they had us reset it and it magically played the movie. They specifically stated that if the reset doesn't work then it is busted. So we discovered that the reset does work, but only temporarily. So every night, my poor husband has to sit there and reset, and wait and reload for their movies to play.
The moral of the story is that this combo pretty much sucks... doesn't have any life. The kids view it every night. I guess if you will be viewing a movie a day then this player/combo isn't for you, or us for that matter. 3 stars for the little time that it did work.

Picture quality is ok, nothing spectacular. DVD features and usability is pretty substandard; less features than a fischer price toy. The real let-down with this lcd is the audio. The speakers are just horrendous. The sound quality is poor, and doesnt carry very well. What made me laugh at this unit was the included digital audio out. 15" LCD...with a digital audio out and no rca stereo jacks. There is a headpone minijack, although its cheap and easily introduces static into whatever it is feeding. All in all, a pretty poorly designed and executed product. When you look at the price in relation to the features, and add to this the poor audio and average video performance...it isnt any wonder why there are no Toshiba products in my home. Cheap hardware for an exorberant price.

Seems ok. Volume is a little low for me, but the picture is nice. We only got it to watch videos for work and some do it yourself videos. We think only bored or stupid people watch TV.

Good TV, great picture, combined DVD player really saves space. Very much worth the price.
