I bought this tv for my daughter for her college room. The size and the look is perfect. The small, thin size of it doesn't take up much space, and the picture is great. Easy set-up -- we just plugged it into the cable and it was good to go. Picture quality is great.

I had to return this item because the base was not properly secured to the screen. Other reviewers have noted this problem. For the record, the Amazon return process was flawless -- and FREE, because the item was defective. Just make sure you return items within 30 days.
The picture quality was crisp -- just beautiful. The controls are easy to use and understand. The manual is useful. But there is just not enough sound volume, especially on DVDs.

I bought this tv for my kitchen. It is perfect size for the counter. It has a great picture and sound is not a problem like I have read on reviews of other small sets. The only thing that bothers me some is the delay when switching channels. Just a little too much thinking time. Other than that...great! I have not really used the built in dvd but did try it. It appears to work well. Great tv for a great price!

Very nice television for the size. A little pricey but that's to be expected from Toshiba. Great picture as expected from Toshiba. The only downside is that the channel labeling only allows 4 characters which makes it challenging to label your channels. It also does not have a favorites menu for adding the channels you watch most instead of cycling to each channel every time which brings up another issue with this new digital transition not being remote friendly unless you use their cable box and remote(NOT the television). It would be nice if the televisions automatically detected and labeled the channels according to the channel broadcaster owner.

We took this Toshiba wide screen LCD with us on vacation and played movies without any problems. I would recommend this to anyone.........
